Course Description

New technology, evolving standards, and processes are all part of IT. Maintaining a cutting-edge environment is a stimulating aim, but brings with it challenges and risks. It is important to understand both this current state of security and IT networks as well as the trends and potential of the near future. In this course, you will learn about constraints in the driving force of cybersecurity and about growing security concerns related to mobile devices, social media, and the Internet of Things, or IoT. You will also learn about the need for new standards and the promise and risk of new technology.
