Course Description

JavaScript is the language usually used to script Web pages, but can also be used in server-side environments like Node.js. Some desktop environments even support writing rich applications in JavaScript. Regardless of where you're using JavaScript, the basic language is the same, though the application programming interfaces (APIs) are different. This course will cover enough of JavaScript, the language, to allow you to get started writing JavaScript for any environment.

Requirements

  • Basic programming skills as might be learned in an introductory programming course in college
