A foundation in basic networking concepts is fundamental to a successful career in information technology. This course teaches you what comprises a computer network. You will explore different types of devices—not only end user devices, but also server resources and network devices. You will also look at different types of network topologies and architectures and you will be introduced to more advanced topics, such as virtualization and cloud computing.
