Course Description
Ethernet is the dominant LAN protocol in use today and will likely remain so for years to come. Let’s learn more about how Ethernet works. In this course, you'll examine IEEE Ethernet addresses, familiarizing yourself with their format and function. You'll look at different Ethernet speeds and cabling options and explore the equipment required to support an Ethernet network. You'll also consider different Ethernet frame structures and common issues that impact the performance of an Ethernet network.
