Course Description
Isolating networks is necessary to control the flow of traffic between them. For that you need IP addressing which we’ll examine in this course. You will learn about dotted decimal notation and how to convert between binary and decimal. You will learn about the five classes of IP addresses, how to distinguish between public and private addresses, the use of network masks, and the advantages of classless IP addressing. Finally, you'll examine some of the features of the next generation of IP addressing, IPv6.
